The starter is located at the front of the engine and drives the flywheel via the starter pinion. 14 teeth on the pinion, 12-volt system voltage, matched to the electrical system of the Suzuki LT 80 (model years 1995 to 2006, both the 7.3 hp and the 6.7 hp version). Direct replacement for the original part.

Installation in about an hour with a hex key set and socket wrench for the mounting bolts. Disconnect the battery before installation and check the pinion for play.
