How to find the right spare part
Start with the item number, an existing reference number, or your vehicle's details. Then, compare the design and connections with your old part.
1. Identify your vehicle precisely
Note the manufacturer, full model designation, model or frame code, and year of manufacture. Additions such as R, RR, S, ABS, or the engine variant can be crucial. The date of first registration is not always the year of manufacture: a vehicle may have been registered after the year it was built. Check the information in your vehicle documents or manual.
2. Use the vehicle finder and search
You can select existing vehicle details in the vehicle finder. Use the item search to find parts by item number and name. Enter numbers in full, including letters and suffixes. A similar model name alone is not enough for an accurate match.
3. Compare with the item
Check the vehicle variants, years of manufacture, and restrictions listed there. Compare product images and available specifications with your old part, especially mounting points, connections, plugs, threads, and dimensions. Vehicles that have already been modified may require different parts than the original factory version.
What does a stored vehicle specification mean?
It indicates the vehicle version for which a part is listed. It is not an independent technical compatibility check. The complete specification and the notes on the product page remain the decisive factors.
My vehicle is not listed – is the part universal?
No. A missing result does not mean that a part is universal or can be safely excluded. Search additionally by item number or part name and clarify any outstanding questions before ordering.
