Moturo Rear Brake Caliper for Honda TRX400EX 99-08 TRX400X 09-14
The Moturo rear brake caliper for your Honda TRX400EX 99-08 and TRX400X 09-14 Sportrax — the friction component on the rear axle that is most frequently replaced after crashes or when pistons seize. Comes with brake pads, ready to install.
The caliper is mounted on the rear axle and presses the pads against the brake disc. The mounting points follow the OE geometry of the TRX400EX (model years 1999 to 2008) and TRX400X (model years 2009 to 2014); please refer to your quad's service manual for tightening values and torque specifications.
After replacement, you must bleed the brake system and fill it with fresh brake fluid, otherwise the brake will not engage properly.
Replacement takes about an hour using a socket wrench set, brake line wrench, and bleeding equipment.

Original spare part design, no separate ABE (German operating permit) required. After replacement, the brake system must be completely bled with fresh brake fluid, otherwise the brake will not function reliably.
