The shock absorber works between the swingarm and the frame. Hole-to-hole distance 270 mm, spring diameter 50 mm, mounting diameter 19.6 mm, spring rate 250 LBS/IN. The external reservoir separates oil and gas and keeps the damping stable even after long sessions. Fine adjustments can be made by hand via fine thread and adjustment screw.

Replacement takes about an hour with a hex key set, socket wrench for the mounting nuts, and a torque wrench.
