The Moturo carburetor repair kit for your Kawasaki KVF400 Prairie (MY 99-02, KVF 400 C/D) — the complete solution for a leaking or gummed-up carburetor after a period of inactivity. Includes float needle valve and jet kit, ready for installation.
This repair kit renews the wear parts on your KVF400 carburetor. Included are O-rings, a float needle valve, jets, jet needle, and other small parts for a complete overhaul of the carburetor system. Precision-fit for KVF 400 C and D models with 391 cc and 28.6 hp, built from 1999 to 2002. Tightening torques and jet sequence follow the KVF400 workshop manual.
Typical symptoms before replacement: rough idle, smell of fuel, or delayed throttle response after the vehicle has been sitting for a long time.
Replacement takes about an hour using a screwdriver set, socket wrench, and a clean workspace for jet assembly.

Original equipment manufacturer design, no separate ABE (German type approval) required. Before installation, compare the jet sizes and the float needle valve with the photo of the item. The kit fits the KVF 400 Prairie platform (C and D), not the KVF 300, KVF 360, or KVF 650.
