The Moturo starter pinion for your Bashan BS200S-7 ATV/Quad — the small gear that engages the starter with the flywheel during the starting process. 60 teeth, 62.5 mm outer diameter, ready for installation.

The starter pinion sits on the shaft of the starter motor and transfers the rotational movement to the flywheel ring gear at the moment of starting. As soon as the engine fires up, the pinion disengages again. 60 teeth, total diameter 62.5 mm, central mounting bore 10 mm. Dimensions according to Bashan.

Replacement takes about half an hour with a socket wrench set and torque wrench once the starter cover is removed. Check the tooth flanks for burrs before installation and grease lightly.

Only if the number of teeth (60), outer diameter (62.5 mm), and mounting bore (10 mm) match. Compare with the installed pinion before ordering.

Do I need a TÜV registration?

Why is the pinion slipping in the starter?
Worn tooth flanks or a loose fit on the starter shaft. Both are classic reasons for replacement.
