The starter motor turns the crankshaft of your scooter during the starting process. The shape, bolt pattern, and shaft connection follow the platform standard for 125cc and 150cc units used in many scooter series. It mounts to the engine housing behind the carburetor and connects via the existing starter cable and starter relay. It can be swapped for a worn predecessor without any modifications to the wiring or control system.

Replacement takes about half an hour using a hex key set and a socket wrench for the mounting bolts on the engine housing.
