The puller releases the flywheel and clutch from the crankshaft. On two-stroke engines from 49 to 80 cc, the flywheel and clutch are typically seated on a tapered shaft with an internal thread — the puller removes both components cleanly from the shaft without the need for hammer blows or makeshift removal using screwdrivers.

Necessary for alternator service, crankshaft replacement, and changing oil seals or main bearings. Suitable for common mopeds, moped bikes, and scooters with a two-stroke engine.

Use in about half an hour with a socket wrench set and a crankshaft holder.

No, the tool is designed for the geometry and thread types of small two-stroke engines. Four-stroke engines have a different mounting.
