The CDI is located in the ignition circuit and controls the ignition timing of your Vespa ET4 125 Leader or Skipper 125 ST. It operates using digital ignition timing calculation with a dynamic ignition curve and unlocks full engine speed for ambitious tuning — without any restrictions. Specifically designed for scooters with an immobilizer, suitable for performance levels up to the high-end range.

Replacement takes about half an hour with standard tools — unplug the connector, loosen the old CDI, insert the new CDI, and plug the connector back in.

Original spare part design, no separate ABE (general operating permit) required. Tuned for the immobilizer of the Vespa ET4 125 Leader (model years 1996 to 2002) and Skipper 125 ST (model years 2000 to 2002). Not compatible with other Piaggio models or scooters without a matching immobilizer.
