Moturo Fiberglass Heat Wrap blue 50mm x 15m

The Moturo heat wrap made of high-strength fiberglass for manifolds and exhaust systems — traps heat radiation and protects surrounding cables. 50mm wide, 15m long, heat-resistant up to 500°C for short periods, ready for installation.

You wrap the tape around manifolds and exhaust pipes to contain heat radiation. Made of high-strength, durable fiberglass, heat-resistant from -40°C to 260°C continuously and up to 500°C for short periods. It protects surrounding cables and lines from heat and reduces the risk of burns when working on a warm engine. Operating temperature is also reached more quickly.

Installation in about half an hour with scissors and heat-resistant work gloves. Lightly moisten the tape before wrapping so that it fits more tightly around curves.

Is 15m enough for a complete exhaust system?
As a rule, yes, depending on the manifold routing. Measure the layout before wrapping.

Does the tape hold up to short-term peak temperatures?
Yes, up to 500°C for short periods. It is designed for continuous temperatures up to 260°C.

Do I need fastening clamps?
Recommended to secure the ends against unrolling. Stainless steel clamps withstand the heat.
