Moturo Heat Wrap 50 mm Aluminum Silver

The Moturo 50 mm silver heat wrap for exhaust systems and manifolds — reduces heat on surrounding cables and lines. Width 50 mm, heat-resistant up to approx. 240 °C, ready to install.

The wrap is wound around manifolds and exhaust pipes, significantly reducing surface temperatures in those areas. Surrounding cables, lines, and fairings are protected from heat exposure. According to the manufacturer, the fiber consists of aluminum and fiberglass and withstands temperatures from -40 °C to approximately 240 °C. Width 50 mm, in silver.

Installation takes about half an hour. Wrap the tape on while slightly damp, overlap cleanly, and secure the beginning and end with clamps or heat-resistant wire.

Does the wrap also fit water radiator hoses?
No, it is not designed for that. It is conceived for exhaust systems and manifolds.

Do I need a TÜV registration?

How do I wrap the tape correctly?
Dampen it slightly, wrap with about a one-third overlap, and secure the beginning and end with clamps.
