Moturo reflective gold heat shield foil 500 x 500 mm

The Moturo heat shield foil in gold for fuel tanks, seat undersides, airboxes, or frame tubes — self-adhesive, reflective, and ready to use from the first cut. 500 x 500 mm, up to 260 °C, ready for installation.

The foil reflects radiant heat and shields underlying components from the heat of manifolds, exhaust mufflers, or engine blocks. Material per data sheet: fiberglass with aluminum lamination. Operating temperature from -40 °C to 260 °C, flammability class VW-1.

Cut with scissors or a utility knife, degrease the adhesive surface, and press into place. Installation takes about half an hour.

Frequently asked questions

Does the adhesive stick directly to the manifold?
No. The foil shields against radiant heat and belongs on the surface being protected, not on the hot component itself.

Can the foil be cut to size?
Yes. Cut cleanly to the desired size using scissors or a utility knife.
