Moturo Turbo Heat Shield Blanket Black T3

The Moturo turbo blanket in black for turbochargers with a T3 flange — thermal insulation for the exhaust housing that keeps the heat inside the turbocharger. Carbon fiber fabric with fiberglass, 3 mm thick, ready for installation.

The turbo blanket is slipped over the exhaust side of the turbocharger and secured to the housing with the included springs. This keeps the heat of the exhaust gas flow inside the turbocharger, thermally insulating the exhaust housing. This has a dual effect: you regain boost pressure build-up, and components around the turbo remain cooler. Material according to spec: carbon fiber fabric with fiberglass, 3 mm thick. The operating range is from -50 to 982°C, with short-term peaks up to 2200°C.
