The voltage regulator converts the AC voltage generated in the alternator into the 12 V DC voltage required for the vehicle's electrical system and keeps the voltage within a defined tolerance range. This charges the battery and protects electrical components such as light bulbs from overvoltage. Suitable for Suzuki GS 500 F, FU, FM, and FH (model years 2004 to 2007).

Replacement takes about half an hour with a socket wrench set and torque wrench.
