Description
Moturo voltage regulator rectifier for Aprilia Pegaso 650 and Leonardo 250/300
The Moturo voltage regulator rectifier for your Aprilia Pegaso 650 and Aprilia Leonardo 250/300 (model years 97-04) — if the electrical system is struggling or the battery is no longer charging, the regulator is usually the cause. 12V DC output, ready to install.
The regulator is mounted on the frame and converts the AC voltage from the alternator into 12V DC for the vehicle's electrical system. It maintains the voltage within the tolerance range, charges the battery, and protects light bulbs from overvoltage. The design and performance correspond to the original Aprilia part; the connector housing and pin configuration follow factory standards.
Replacement takes about half an hour with a socket wrench and torque wrench. Disconnect the battery beforehand, check the connector for corrosion, and tighten the mounting points securely.

Frequently asked questions
Does the regulator also fit the Pegaso 650 from model year 2001 (i.e.) onwards?
No, from 2001 onwards the Aprilia alternator wiring differs.
How do I know if the regulator is defective?
If the battery discharges despite the alternator running or light bulbs burn out in sequence, the regulator is a typical suspect. Measure the voltage at the battery at idle and at 4000 rpm and compare it with the Aprilia workshop manual.
Do I need a TÜV registration?
No. Original replacement part design with 12V DC, not a component requiring registration.
