The regulator corresponds to the original in both design and performance. It converts the AC voltage generated in the alternator into 12-volt vehicle electrical system voltage and keeps it within the tolerance range. This ensures the battery is charged and that light bulbs and control units are protected against overvoltage. The connection and plug follow the OE geometry of your Suzuki LS 650 and SV 650.

Replacement takes about half an hour with a socket wrench and a screwdriver.

Yes, the voltage range and load capacity follow the specifications of the original regulator. Replacing the regulator will not fix a weak battery — please check the battery condition beforehand.
