The Moturo Racing CDI unrestricted for your Piaggio Vespa LX 125, LXV 125, S 125 and GTV 125 (MY 05-09) — the ignition unit without rev limiter, compatible with the immobilizer, ready for installation.

The CDI calculates the ignition timing and ignition curve digitally and provides optimal advance ignition across the entire RPM range. The factory rev limiter is removed, while the immobilizer remains active. Proven for Piaggio Vespa LX 125 (model years 2005 to 2008), LXV 125 (model years 2007 to 2009), S 125, GTV 125 and Beverly 125 GT with 124 cc displacement and 10.3 to 15 hp output.

Replacement takes about half an hour using a screwdriver set for the fairing screws; the connector is simply plugged in.

No, both models use a different ignition system with a different connector.

Does the immobilizer remain functional after the replacement?
Yes, the unrestricted CDI is tuned to the immobilizer of the LX, LXV, S and GTV 125.

Is the unrestricted CDI approved for road use?
No. The CDI removes the factory rev limiter and, according to the inventory, is designed for racing purposes.
