The tube sits between the tire and the rim to hold air in the system. The straight valve points vertically outward — the typical design for rims without a valve offset. Tire sizes 2.75-10 and 2.50-10 fit 10-inch rims as found on 50cc scooters, mopeds, and small motorcycles.

When changing tires, a new tube is a must — a used tube rarely lasts as long as the fresh tire over it. Replace using tire levers, a pump, and a little patience.
