The Moturo speedometer cable for Kawasaki KZ305, KZ400, KZ440, KZ550, KZ750 and Z400 (MY 74-84) — replacement for snapped or worn-out original cables. Dimensions identical to OE, connections for front wheel and speedometer housing, ready to install.

The cable transmits the rotational movement from the front wheel to the speedometer. The dimensions correspond to the original cable, and the connections fit the front wheel and speedometer housing. The inner core and outer casing are cleanly manufactured; installation and operating behavior are identical to the original.

Typical reasons for replacement: snapped or worn-out cable, inaccurate or flickering speedometer needle, seized cable after long periods of inactivity. Replacement takes about half an hour with a screwdriver and open-end wrench. The front wheel does not need to be removed.

Important notes – please read

Original spare part design, no separate ABE (general operating permit) required. A functional component in the speedometer drive train; replacement does not require registration. Not suitable for newer Kawasakis from the mid-80s onwards, as connection geometry and length differ.
