Cable A transfers the movement from the throttle grip to the carburetor side and opens the throttle valve when turned. Dimensions, housing, and end pieces correspond to the original cable; routing and torque values follow the factory manual for the CB 400, CM 400, and CB 450 (model years 1978 to 1983). The cable is cleanly manufactured, and the inner wire runs freely within the housing.

Replace in about half an hour: unhook the old cable at the throttle grip and the carburetor slide, route the new cable along the same path, and adjust the play at the throttle grip.

Do I additionally need cable B "Closing"?
These Honda models use a dual-cable system with cable A (opening) and cable B (closing). Check your bike to see if both are installed and ideally replace them together.

Does this cable fit the CB 450 SC (PC14, from 1986 onwards)?
No. The cable is designed for the CB 400 A, CB 400 N, CM 400 T, and the corresponding CB 450 from model years 1978 to 1983. For later models, please compare dimensions.
