The Moturo throttle cable for the Honda ATC 185, ATC 200 and TRX 200 (MY 84-88) — the connection between the throttle grip and the carburetor, a classic wear part with factory geometry, ready for installation.

The throttle cable transmits movement from the throttle grip to the carburetor slide. The outer sleeve protects the inner wire, and the end fitting follows the factory geometry of the Honda ATC and TRX platform for model years 1984 to 1988.

Replacement takes about half an hour with a socket wrench and screwdriver. Before installation, lightly grease the inner wire and adjust the play at the throttle grip.

Does this cable fit the Honda TRX 200 from 1990 onwards?
No, the geometry is different. This cable is for the ATC and TRX platform for model years 1984 to 1988.

How do I adjust the play correctly?
There should be a slight amount of free play at the throttle grip, and the idle speed must return freely. For values, please refer to the workshop manual of the ATC and TRX platform.
