The cover seals the right side of the R1 engine and protects the clutch and engine internals in the event of a fall or stone impact. The hole pattern and sealing surfaces follow the original layout of the R1 (model years 2009 to 2013, RN22), tightening torques as per the workshop manual.

The most common wear part on the engine after a fall: a cracked original cover can be replaced without opening the engine. Sealing edge is flat, screw pattern matches the original.

Installation takes about an hour using a hex key set and torque wrench.

Original replacement part design, no separate ABE (general operating permit) required. Protective part, replacement does not require registration. Fits only R1 models with the crossplane engine (RN22, model years 2009 to 2013); not for RN12/RN14 or RN32.
