Moturo fuel petcock Type 1 for GY6 ATV, Quad and scooter

The Moturo fuel petcock Type 1 for GY6 ATV, Quad and scooter with metal tank — the most common replacement when the old valve is drawing air, leaking or failing to properly feed the carburetor. Vacuum-operated with two connections, ready for installation.

The petcock sits between the tank and carburetor and only releases fuel when the engine generates a vacuum. Two connections: fuel line to the carburetor, vacuum hose from the intake manifold. Mounted to the tank via a screw nut.

Replacement takes about half an hour with a wrench for the mounting nut and a suitable fuel line.

Frequently asked questions

Does the petcock also fit tanks without a vacuum connection?
No, the petcock requires the vacuum hose from the intake manifold, otherwise it will not open.

Does this also work on plastic tanks?
Designed for metal tanks. For plastic tanks, check the mount and sealing surface before installation.
