The Moturo CDI Type 1 in black with a five-pin connector for 50cc to 125cc scooters, ATVs, quads, and dirt bikes — the ignition unit to get when your bike's ignition fails. Five pins, ready for installation.

The CDI controls the ignition timing of the ignition coil and is located in the wiring harness between the alternator, pickup, and ignition coil. The five-pin connector corresponds to Type 1 found on many Chinese platforms with 139QMB, 152QMI, or 157QMJ engines.

Important before replacing: Compare the connector shape and pin assignment with the product image. The five-pin connectors of the various Chinese platforms are not all wired the same.

Replacement takes about half an hour. Pull off the connector, loosen the mounting bracket on the frame, and plug in the new CDI.
