Moturo 5m Ceramic Heat Wrap for Manifold and Exhaust

The Moturo 5m Ceramic Heat Wrap in black for manifolds and exhausts (universal item) — reduces the risk of burns and covers surrounding cables and lines. High-strength titanium fiber, heat-resistant up to approx. 1200 °C, includes 5 stainless steel cable ties, ready to install.

The wrap is wound around manifolds, exhaust headers, and mufflers. The high-strength titanium fiber keeps heat up to approx. 1200 °C within the exhaust system, protects hands, surrounding cables, and lines from the risk of burns, and ensures that the operating temperature is reached faster and maintained for longer. Dimensions according to the manufacturer: 5 m length, 5 cm width, 2 mm thickness. The color is black.

Installation takes about half an hour with scissors and the included stainless steel cable ties.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the wrap really withstand 1200 °C?
According to the manufacturer's specifications, yes, for short-term peak loads. In continuous operation, the load on the manifold is typically significantly lower, and the wrap remains within the safety range.

Wrap wet or dry?
Dampen the wrap briefly with water before installation. The titanium fiber pulls itself tight around the manifold as it dries and sits neatly.

How many manifolds can I cover with 5 m?
Typically sufficient for one manifold with the collector of a single-cylinder engine or half of a four-cylinder system. Measure the manifold length and account for overlap before ordering.
