Description
Moturo Ceramic Heat Wrap 10 m black
The Moturo Ceramic Heat Wrap for headers, exhaust pipes, and silencers — the standard part for replacing headers or protecting cables in the engine bay. 10 m × 5 cm length, heat-resistant up to approx. 1200 °C, ready to install.
The wrap is wound around headers, exhaust pipes, or individual lines to dissipate heat. The titanium fibers are high-strength and durable; the black appearance is maintained after the initial burn-in. Fastening is done using the included stainless steel zip ties.
Advantages: significantly reduced risk of burns from hot components, protection for surrounding cables and lines, faster attainment of operating temperature. Color: black, dimensions: 10 m × 5 cm × 2 mm, temperature resistance up to approx. 1200 °C according to the manufacturer.
Installation takes about half an hour with scissors, work gloves, and a water spray bottle for pre-moistening.

Important notes – please read
Original spare part design, no separate ABE (general operating permit) required. Universal heat protection for headers and exhaust routing; plan the path and wrap length before installation. A slight odor during the initial burn-in is normal and will dissipate after a few minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to wet the wrap before winding it?
Pre-moistening makes wrapping easier and smooths the fibers.
Does it smell during the first heating?
Yes, a short odor during the initial burn-in is normal and will dissipate after a few minutes.
Is one roll enough for a longer exhaust system?
Depends on the header path; for long systems, it is better to plan for two rolls.
