Moturo 10m Titanium Heat Wrap for Manifolds and Exhaust Systems

The Moturo 10m heat wrap for manifolds and exhaust systems — the classic solution for heat insulation on hot components and protection for surrounding cables. Titanium fiber up to approx. 1400 °C, includes 10 stainless steel cable ties, ready to install.

The heat wrap wraps around manifolds and tailpipes, insulating radiant heat and protecting surrounding cables and lines. The roll measures 10 meters in length, 5 cm in width, and 2 mm in thickness. Heat-resistant up to approx. 1400 °C, made of high-strength titanium fiber in a gold tone.

Wrapped tightly around the manifold, the tape keeps the exhaust temperature inside the system, allowing the exhaust to reach operating temperature faster. The risk of burns when working on a hot bike is reduced.

Wrapping takes about half an hour with scissors and work gloves; ten stainless steel cable ties secure the beginning and end.

Original spare part design, no separate ABE (general operating permit) required. Universal item for wrapping manifolds and exhaust pipes — check the wrapping area for sharp edges and rust spots before installation, otherwise, the fiber may wear out at the contact points.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is one roll enough for the complete exhaust system of a four-cylinder engine?
10 meters are sufficient for most manifold bundles on a four-cylinder engine. If all four individual pipes plus the collector are to be completely wrapped, please plan for two rolls.

Do I have to soak the tape in water before installation?
Optional. When damp, the basalt fiber or titanium fiber can be pulled tighter; it wraps just as easily when dry.

How long does the tape last during operation?
During the first heat cycle, the tape will smoke briefly, after which the fiber settles. With proper wrapping, a service life of several seasons is standard.
