Moturo Alternator Stator for Yamaha YZF R1 02-03
The Moturo stator for your Yamaha YZF R1 02-03 (RN9) — the part to install when the windings have been exposed to heat or the battery is no longer charging. 18 coils, matching connector, ready to install.
The stator is located in the alternator cover on the left side of the engine and, via the rotating flywheel, generates the electrical power for ignition, lighting, and battery charging. 18 coils, with a connector that matches the R1 wiring harness.
Replacing the stator becomes necessary as soon as the multimeter shows an open circuit between the phases or the battery is dead after 50 kilometers — the most common reason why an R1 starts with a full battery and breaks down shortly thereafter.
Replacement takes about an hour using a hex key set, torque wrench, and sealant for the housing cover.
