The Moturo engine cover left for your Kawasaki Z 1000 10-13 (Z 1000 D, Z 1000 E, Z 1000 SX) — alternator cover, protects the drive side in the event of a fall. OE hole pattern, ready for installation.

The cover is located on the left side of the engine housing over the alternator rotor and protects the stator, winding, and crankshaft housing from impacts and scratches in the event of a fall. The bolt holes and sealing surface follow the original geometry of the Z 1000 D, Z 1000 E, and Z 1000 SX (model years 2010 to 2013, 1043 cc platform). Tightening torques according to the Z 1000 workshop manual.

Replacement takes about an hour with a hex key set, torque wrench, and new cover gasket.

No, the housing geometry of later Z 1000 models is different.
