The Moturo engine cover for the left side of your Kawasaki ZX-6RR 03-04 (ZX600 K, ZX600 M) — protects the alternator and crankshaft after a fall. OE hole pattern for the ZX-6RR, ready for installation.

The cover sits on the left side of the engine housing over the alternator and seals the crankcase on the drive side. The holes follow the factory hole pattern of the ZX-6RR; tightening torques as per the workshop manual (model years 2003 to 2004, model code ZX600 K and ZX600 M). In the event of a fall, the left engine cover is the most common component to hit the ground — it absorbs the impact and protects the stator and crankshaft from consequential damage.

Replacement takes about an hour using a hex key set and a torque wrench. Clean the sealing surface and insert a new cover gasket before installation.
