The Moturo vacuum fuel tap for your GY6 scooter with a metal tank — a wear part that is the first to fail after periods of inactivity or when fuel becomes gummy. M16 thread and filter tube inside the tank, ready to install.

The fuel tap is located between the tank and carburetor and only releases fuel when a vacuum is created at the intake port. The tap has an M16 thread at the tank connection. The filter tube protrudes into the metal tank and pre-cleans the fuel.

During long periods of inactivity or with old fuel, the original part becomes gummy — this is the most common fault with the fuel tap. Replacing it solves starting problems or idling issues without having to work on the carburetor.

Installation takes about half an hour with a suitable wrench set and a drip pan for residual fuel.
