The Moturo alternator for Chinese scooters with GY6 50cc four-stroke engines (139QMB/QMA) — the stator supplies the ignition and electrical system with power. Eight coils, two of which have isolated windings, ready for installation.

The stator is located in the alternator cover and provides voltage for the ignition and electrical system via eight coils. Two of these coils feature isolated windings, and the integrated pickup controls the ignition timing. Cable connection with plug is already attached.

Before installation, compare the coil configuration with the old stator. There are visually identical alternators with only one isolated coil that are not electrically compatible.

Replacement takes about half an hour using a hex key set, socket wrench for the mounting bolts, and a flywheel puller.
