The Moturo engine cover left for your Suzuki GSX-R 1000 09-11 (K9-L1) — the most common part that needs replacing after a fall on the left side. OE bolt pattern of the GSX-R, ready for installation.

The cover is located on the left side of the engine and seals the alternator housing towards the crankshaft stub. The drill holes follow the OE bolt pattern of the GSX-R 1000 (model years 2009 to 2011, K9 to L1); tightening values follow the GSX-R workshop manual. After a fall on the left side, this cover is usually the first component to crack or grind through.

Replace in about an hour with a hex key set, torque wrench, and a new cover gasket. Drain the engine oil before opening, and follow the tightening values for the bolt sequence when fastening.
