The Moturo CDI ignition box with integrated ignition coil for Piaggio and Gilera scooters without catalytic converter (pre-Hyper2, usually model year before 2000) — the most common replacement part for ignition problems on 50cc scooters. Ready to install by simply plugging it in.

On Piaggio and Gilera scooters, the CDI and ignition coil form a single component. The unit ignites the mixture and is located on the frame under the fairing. The geometry and mountings follow the original spare part design of the Piaggio platform for models without a catalytic converter (model year usually before 2000, pre-Hyper2).

Replacement takes about half an hour by simply unplugging and re-plugging the connector.
